We have a beautiful, spacious workplace on offer in a wonderful neighbourhood near the station. We have enjoyed working here for many years and are now looking to add another enthusiast. We are seven enterprising women: each with her own business. The atmosphere on the work floor is very pleasant and relaxed.

About our office

The neighbourhood is very lively. We are located close to the Haarlemmerdijk and the Jordaan and there are a great number of places for a nice cup of coffee or a lunch. The shops around here are not good for you if you are on a lunch break. Additionally there are some great places to walk to, such as the waterfront or the Westerpark next door. The space itself is pleasant. It is a historical location with an industrial feel, because we are under the train track. There are several companies around here, a different one under each arch. This gives a pleasant atmosphere and it can come in handy when you need a certain expertise which is available next door.

Mixed troupe

We are seven ambitious entrepreneurs, each with our own company: a mixed troupe. Our work is very different form one another. From a catering agency to a booking agency for special hotels. From non-profit project management to organize lectures and excursions on urban development. We, Hinke and Ineke, the original tenants, also work together. We organize international events.

Plenty of activity in the area

We discovered this place in 2008 and have enjoyed working here since then. It is part of an overpass used by trains (there’s rubber under the tracks, so you will hear the train only in the background). Business areas were created underneath the arches. As a result these have the shape of a beautiful historical archway and an industrial look. In this area you will encounter a lot of creative companies. Each arch houses a different enterprise. That’s nice but can also come in handy. Especially the print shop a few doors down is very convenient.

Culinary Valhalla

We are located in a lively area with a great number of delicatessen and places to have a great lunch. We also call it a culinary Valhalla. Prinseneiland is located nearby and during your break you can take a leisurely stroll through the Westerpark. The location is central and very pleasant. In the centre with the station within walking distance. On the Haarlemmerdijk is a public car park, but it’s also possible to rent a parking space at our own car park. For tenants the rate is reduced.

Good dose of humour

The atmosphere here is very pleasant and open. We all see eye-to-eye about how we work. Often work is done in peace and with concentration but regularly we interrupt the silence to talk about important but mostly unimportant things. Additionally we are open to bounce business ideas off each other. This can be very refreshing, even if we are different in expertise. There are for workspaces in our office. Two of us work full time, the other work part-time. You never know who is present because we regularly need to work elsewhere for our work. But that’s the fun part, sometimes you sit alone, sometimes in pairs and sometimes it’s a full house. We all work here because we enjoy working outside of the home, so you can often find us here.

With regards to facilities we have everything you need: a desk and a desk chair, a fully equipped kitchen, a blackboard and a lounge area with a comfortable sofa. You will be assigned closet space, we have a cleaning service and you will have your own key: as a result you can come and work 24/7, at any time you like. Outside we have a garden bench, because most of the day we have sunshine and so it’s nice to drink your coffee here. The Christmas gifts are a great treat. We agreed to make these for each other because as independent entrepreneurs we miss out on that a bit. From time to time we have spontaneous get-togethers, but as far as we are concerned this does not happen enough. We are easy to get along with and sociable. Coincidentally, all tenants are women, but that the future tenant should also be a women as well isn’t a requirement at all.

In our office in Amsterdam Centrum we currently don't have anything for rent.
